Google+ Reaches 4.7 Million Users

Since its release on June 28, 2011, a new social networking service users Google+ grow very rapidly. The requirement to register in advance through the invitation of members who have registered to use this service do not discourage new users.

Paul Allen, Ancestry.com founder and CEO of FamilyLink mentions in his research results, the number of Google+ users current through the numbers about 4.7 million people. The number is several times more users than a week before the new 1.7 million. "Calculations show that while starting on Monday (July 11, 2011), Google+ users grew 2.8-fold from 1.7 million to 4.7 million," wrote Paul Allen on the Google+ network weekends ago.

Google itself has yet to release exact data number of Google+ users. But the former CEO of Google Eric Schmidt was revealed last week that millions of users already. Of course still far from Facebook users who have exceeded 600 million users. Sooner or later Google+ will be a competitor to Facebook.

Google+ comes with four main features.

  • Circles, this function can be used to insert the names of friends into groups and users, can share content with different formats in this circle of friends.

  • Hangouts, this feature is a conferencing service is more than two people with a video call.

  • Third is the Huddle, a service that provides groups in this network to send instant messages.

  • And the fourth is the Sparks, a feature which could relate to people in this network to people who have the same interests towards something.


Google could shut down an invitation feature that allows each user to invite his friends. Google openly admitted to being overwhelmed by the number of users is growing very rapidly beyond expectations.

If There's Not Google

If There's Not Google. Starting writing this first blog beginners. The new blog a few days old after going through the selection of display templates and settings that thought fit, I started trying to write to fill this blog beginners. Starting from visiting some fellow blogger friend, I am inspired to write "If There's Not Google."

Well, Google is still tops the list as search media in cyberspace. How not, the initial setting was by default firefox is google page. Sorry, because I do not know much, I use google just as the media searches for a couple of articles I needed.

What if there was no google. Perhaps I find it difficult to find some articles that I need. Whatever it. Both the matter of sports I like, or some kind of tutorial which helped establish this newbie blog. For me google is very important in my life, especially in exploring this virtual world.

Over the course of time, and several visits to the blog friends, I discovered how big a role google. Starting in indexing the article and the blog up with ratings that often interpreted as a Google Pagerank of people, as a measure of a blog.

So it is true, what if there was no google in this virtual world. Maybe it was the opening article of this blog beginners. I admit is still largely lacking in the delivery of information in this article. Advice and feedback is expected to improve in the future.
